The only reason I don't rate this as excellent is due to the highway noise and my wifi didn't work from our site (we were the furthest from the office). However, we had about a 1/2 acre to ourselves with trees and mowed grass, which was really nice. There are mostly paved roads throughout. It is very convenient with fuel and food close by. We'll definitely stay here again.

Many sites are small and cramped, but the spectacular views and clean showers made up for the site space. With the rocky shoreline and waves crashing, it made for a delightful experience. About a third of the sites had lake views. Shade is scarce, but it is cooler with the lake close by. Porcupine is a huge State Park with trails, skiing, waterfalls, and fishing. A camp store with mainly trinkets and a few supplies is nearby. Wonderful place.

Rustic forest sites for smaller RVs and tents. Great fishing within a short walk on a premier trout and salmon river. All sites have shade. Very quiet except for the river and wildlife. Gravel sites with many on an angle. Self-registration.

Stayed one night for just a stopover. I live in the area, so I knew of all that there is to offer. Great park next door at Lake of the Woods. Plenty of eateries in Mahomet. I thought it would be loud with interstate traffic noise, but it was surprisingly quiet. Host was very nice.

Nearly all sites on the West loop are scenic with woodsy views. Sites on the Northeast loops appear slightly cramped and along main road. Very quiet location with level asphalt pads and easy access. Close to Hwy 36 for easy in and out. River and ponds close by for fishing and fun. Hiking trail connects to campground.

Mountain goats and deer were all around. I could see newly stocked brook trout in the stream from my trailer window. I caught one of the biggest brown trout of my life at 24" in the campground pond. Plenty of 15" plus rainbows as well. Cleanest vault toilets ever. Very quiet. Wood available at the registration kiosk. Bike/hike trail connects the campground. Campground at the north entrance of the Custer Wildlife loop where buffalo and pronghorns abound.

Quiet location 10 miles from Niagara Falls, but not overly convenient to highway. Level sites are close together in parallel style. Basic amenities; kind of a low key KOA for the price. Nice staff.

Very nice campground with two locations. One is close to the river while the other is in deep woods. Both are very nice. I ran for miles through the 100 acres woods campground. Walked down to the river at our camp. Separate kids and adult game rooms. Ice cream social. Very shaded and private site with cable TV. Easy access to fishing and Lake Placid.

A little steep on the price, but worth it for all the amenities. Great kids campground. Fire truck rides, loads of toys to play on, and ice cream social. The standard tight, parallel sites. Very level with easy access and good shade. Great tent area with dispersed camping in the woods. Neat dog obstacle course in fenced area. Individual showers with their own door. Far enough from the interstate to be quiet. Staff patrols frequently.

Nice, quiet location outside of town. Easy access to I-81. Most sites are close together. Some level sites on gravel. Men's restroom and showers are "locker room" style; kind of open, but functional. Nice shade and amenities.

Great location on the river and close to shopping at Manchester Center. Level site and area around picnic table and fire pit were nicely raked. My wife complained about no soap in the bathrooms, but they were clean and functional. Well shaded and very quiet.

We dry camped 20 feet from the river. Beautiful location. Very few amenities. Only the most rugged RVs attempt this. On the West side, there are small roads with potholes. Mostly paved through campground. On the East side, rugged large stones and difficult to maneuver, but easier access by highway 151. Dogs need vaccination records. Bears in the area. Beautiful covered bridge (no autos) and great trout fishing. If your rig can take it, go for it.

We stopped for a quick overnight. The attendants opened the office after-hours to sign us in. They then escorted us to our site. Easy in and out. Relatively quiet despite being adjacent to Hwy 54. Very pretty and convenient location. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Dilapidated location. Office was not marked and was the first of many unattractive buildings.

Site was gravel next to the woods. Many sites were in the open and I doubt that there is any shade in the summer. Very quiet and close to water recreation. Enjoyed my stay.

Awesome location. The small trout stream and swimming hole are picture perfect. You can hear them from all the campsites. Very rustic place with hiking and fishing. No reservations, first-come. Fills up on weekends.

Very rustic in an incredible location. Sits inside Glen Canyon and you can hear the roaring river. Easy access and nice sites. Very open and could be extremely warm in summer. Torrential winds pick up occasionally.

Beautiful location in the woods. Not easy access and is well off the highways. Well placed sites and very helpful staff.
